Wedding Chat with Sande - Las Vegas Weddings - An interview featuring Jennifer Birmingham
You may know Jennifer by her maiden name - Jennifer Martinez. She is a beautiful singer and songwriter. She is often the opening act for Jarrod Birmingham, also an awesome singer and songwriter. Figure this out yet? Yes - Jennifer Martinez is married to Jarrod Birmingham.
Jarrod Birmingham is Timmy's nephew. He is one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth people I know. When he first introduced us to Jennifer, it was love at first sight for me. She was so sweet and gosh was she gorgeous!!! And a voice like an angel. I can easily see why she and Jarrod are true soulmates.
A couple of years ago, Jarrod told us that he was so happy. We were happy for him! A guy with such a big heart deserves happiness. I was pretty sure Jennifer had something to do with that happiness. Guess I was right because not long after, they announced they were getting married - in Las Vegas!!!
So of course I had to ask Jennifer for an interview on a Las Vegas wedding. And being the sweetheart she is, she told me she would be glad to.
Jennifer and I met for lunch at our mutually favorite restaurant - Noots Thai Kitchen. I need to add to my story that since that Las Vegas wedding there has been a little addition to the Birmingham family - precious little Grace. Grace also enjoyed lunch with us!
Here is the conversation we had regarding their Las Vegas Nuptials:
Me: I am so happy for you and Jarrod. Ya'll are truly the most adorable couple! What made you and Jarrod decide on a Vegas wedding?
Jennifer: The stress of a huge wedding wasn't appealing to us. We wanted this to be as stress-free as possible. We thought of eloping but I just couldn't do it without having my mom and grandma present.
Me: There are lots of chapels in Las Vegas. Which one did you choose?
Jennifer: We selected The Little Church of the West.
Me: Was there something particular about this venue that made you choose it?
Jennifer: I researched many wedding chapels online, including pictures and reviews. Little Church of the West offered several different packages. The package we chose had a limo to transport us from the hotel to the venue. We also had a Glam Squad and a great photographer. We stayed at the Bellagio Hotel which also has wedding packages but it seemed liked total chaos. We did love the Bellagio Hotel though. We paid extra for a fountain view and concierge services - which I highly recommend!
Me: You looked absolutely beautiful on your wedding day. Tell me about the Glam Squad.
Jennifer: Little Church of the West arranged for a world-renown make up artist to come to my hotel. He was amazing.
Me: Did you work with a wedding planner?
Jennifer: No - didn't need to - the church took care of everything.
Me: Well, I think we've covered everything! Thank you so much for agreeing to do this for me.
Jennifer: Of course!
The photo below was taken by the Little Church of the West. Please excuse the poor quality. I scanned it twice, I'm not sure why it didn't come out clear!
