GOLIAD HIGH SENIOR | KAITLYN
I met Kaitlyn's mom Lorie when we worked for the State. Lorie is lots of fun, with a quick wit an easy laugh. I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her beautiful daughter Kaitlyn.
As you will see by some of my photos - Kaitlyn is an athlete. She is a member of the Goliad H.S. Vollyball team who have won two back to back State Championships. She loves to work out and states fit and strong by Powerlifting. She's also very accomplished at her school - she's a member of the National Honor Society, a member of 4H, she tutors underclassmen and get this .....she is ranked #3 in her senior class! WOW! WOW!
When she's not working out or studying, Kaitlyn is quite the girly-girl. She is a fashionista - she loves shopping with friends - clothes, shoes, jewelry, earrings - she loves it all! And she gets extra excited it if it's pink! End the day with some Chick-Fil-A and the girl is happy. A girl after my own heart!
Oh wait - have I mentioned she is GORGEOUS??
Our photo shoot was a complete delight for me. Kaitlyn is as much fun as her mother. She was willing to try anything I asked of her, even if it involved getting mud between her toes! I do have a favorite moment of the session - we were almost finished - we were downtown. Kaitlyn was adorable in white pants and a blue floral blouse. She was posing near the street for me when I man drove by in a car with his window down. He slowed down to admire her and called out "LORDY! LORDY!" We all died laughing! I think Kaitlyn's favorite moment would be when we photographed her sports accomplishments - her two Championship rings and the many many many many medals!! She is so proud - and so is her mom and her grandmother who was also with us at the shoot.
We ended her shoot at my studio where we added a Fine Art Portraiture Session in her beautiful prom dress and jewelry from my Boutique. Her blue eyes were definitely the feature of the day - they are just mesmerizing! She rocked that session as well. Even I was saying 'LORDY LORDY' with this girl!!
Kaitlyn has been accepted and will be will be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at Texas A&M in College Station. I have no doubt this little powerhouse is going to accomplish all of her dreams!
