Destiny Bible Institute Graduation

I am a graduate of Destiny Bible Institute. It is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. So when I'm asked to photograph the graduates, I'm so happy and honored to do it.

This year they had a small graduating class - only 7 students. So Faith Family Church decided to do it big. They decorated the Connection Center with a rustic, bohemian look and served a wonderful South Texas dinner - Fajitas, rice, beans and all the fixings! Plus a beautifully decorated photo backdrop so everyone could pose with their diploma.

The evening started with Praise & Worship music by the best - Michael Graff on the piano and Kristi Teague singing. I could listen to her sing all day! It was so beautiful. After that, each graduate was asked to speak and I was amazed at how eloquent they all were. They were humble and thankful. They spoke on how they planned to use their diploma to change their world. Pastor Larry Helms took time to pray over each graduate individually. Then he called them all by name and presented their diplomas. It was hands down the best DBI graduation ever! Then it was time to eat - all graduates were welcome to invite their family and friends so the connection center was full!

At the end the graduates were all invited to have their pictures taken by yours truly. I didn't have trouble getting anyone to smile at this photo shoot. Everyone was so happy.

Congratulations graduates. I know you are going to go forth and make a difference for Christ!
