In June, I had the honor of attending the 10th Anniversary party of The One Bride Guide Magazine in Corpus Christi. My assistant Vicki and I had a wonderful time. We got to dress up and party on the new 3rd floor of the Texas State Aquarium. While we were there we came across a very interesting new way to plan your wedding - an online Wedding Planner!!

VP Wedding Planner of South Texas was recently launched and I am fascinated with this concept! It is so easy and you can take care of everything from your mobile device. Once you sign up, you add your date, your location and your budget. VP will get you a checklist to keep you on track and will remind you of what needs to be done. You can also customize the checklist by adding your own "to do's" to the list.

Probably one of the scariest and most daunting things about planning the wedding is the BUDGET. VP helps to keep you on track with its calculator. You input your total budget and VP will recommend how much money you should allot to each component of your big day. This does allow you to make modifications as to where you allot money if you want to spend more or less in one particular area. You can track your budget every step of the way to monitor if you are over or under, and by exactly how much.

The Planner also provides lists of preferred vendors in your area. You have the ability to make notes, add in quotes and compare. You can also keep track of your guest list, who has RSVP'd and create your seating arrangement!

You also get private access to a private Facebook group where you can interact with other brides, buy/sell/trade and share tips and ask questions. I LOVE facebook groups!
