Family Photo Session ~ The Vaughn Family

Another rainy day. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the rain. God is saving me money on my water bill because I don't have to water my yard. But it has been an issue on almost every photo shoot I've booked since Spring started! And this session was no different!

It's hard for a family to line up all their schedules for a photo session. We planned this about a month in advance and they had dreams of a beautiful outdoor photo session. But we didn't just have rain, we had a thunderstorm!! With everyone's schedules, it was impossible to reschedule. So thank you Jesus for my studio! It actually worked out well. We were not only sheltered from the rain but it was a comfortable setting for all and having a dressing room is so convenient for outfit changes!! We even went into my props for some extra accessories! It really was fun.

This family is special to me as Sheri Vaughn and I have been friends for years. Her kids and mine grew up together because we were neighbors. She left the neighborhood a few years ago for a beautiful property in the country but we still manage to keep in touch and have lunch now and then. Her children are all so sweet and good hearted, just like mom & dad. And they are all so good looking!!

Thank you Sheri for getting everyone together for this photo shoot. It was such a pleasure being around your beautiful family. I think ya'll all look fabulous - especially you.
