Beautiful Wedding Celebration

Yay! Finished my photo shoot of Mahlon & Gloria's beautiful wedding celebration! When I do an event like this, I use two cameras which means two photo cards with hundreds of pictures. I have to sort and edit through all of these and it seems to take me forever! Makes me wonder if other photographers spend this much time? Am I doing something wrong? Am I too OCD when it comes to my pictures? Oh well. I don't care. I love taking pictures and editing is part of it. I love making sure everyone looks good!!

This was such a sweet and intimate celebration. The ceremony was very private, only immediate family was invited but the celebration was for all the their family & friends.

I'm sure you've heard me say this before but I love, love, love doing events. My full time job is at a place where people are rarely happy. And when I say this, I want to make it very clear I'm not talking about my co-workers because they are awesome, but I'm talking about the general atmosphere. It's very stressful, often negative and exhuasting. But this job? Being a photographer? Completely the opposite! Everyone is happy, smiling, relaxed and enjoying the moment. They are smiling and so am I.

Mahlon & Gloria are so blessed to not only have found one another but also to be surrounded by such loving people!
